Alex Matthew Balgobin: Alex Matthew Balgobin is a 1st-generation American, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, to a Guyanese family. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a double-minor in Linguistics and Russian from the University at Albany, SUNY, in 2012, where he focused on Cultural and Language Anthropology. He has completed some graduate coursework from the School of International Affairs at the Pennsylvania State University. Alex also has an alias as the EDM DJ/Producer, Cheez Grater.
